This weekend went extremely too fast for me; but it was one of the best weekends I have had in a long time. You ask why? Well, because I pampered myself to two beautiful days of *nothing*. Well, I shouldn't say nothing. Mike and I did run errands on Saturday and I did go food shopping on Sunday, but overall I relaxed. And relaxing is just what this young lady needed. Working a full-time job, attending graduate school, doctor/sonagram visits 24/7, tutoring AND observation.... I think I deserved some well needed me time.

Thanksgiving was amazing as always; I hope yours was too. We spent the day and evening with my side of the family. All 24 of us, at my dear Aunt and Uncles. We love going there for the holidays' (and in general). It is always packed with my loud, funny, beautiful and heart-warming family. They all remind me how grateful I am to be a part of each of their lives.

A big thanks goes out to my Aunt, who had given Mike and I an immense amount of baby items. We are so thankful to have her in our lives and for her generosity. It is what kept me up until 1:00 AM on Friday and Saturday night.... folding and putting away numerous amounts of baby clothes. And trust me, I did not mind being up that late taking care of baby duties. It is what truly makes me happy nowadays. (Oh, and decorating for Christmas of course....)

Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday. We finally got our blowup Reindeer and Santa outside; I am so estatic to have these fellas up. After work on Friday, I was pulling up to the house and to my suprise, Mike put them up for me! Sometimes that man really knows how to put a smile on my face. I took some time here and there over the weekend to decorate the inside of our house; I must say it has such a warm and cozy feel to it. Just how I like it.

What are you thankful for this holiday season? Don't forget to count your blessings and to never take anything for granted..... life is too short and beautiful! Embrace what God has given you.
